Welcome to our Live Virtual Tours Catalogue.
Listed below are the Virtual Tours that you can view live, presented by us using Zoom. These are scheduled at set times and are run live, just like a minibus tour. Due to levels of demand, the times of these tours tend to suit our North American and European audiences. Other audiences, such as Australia and New Zealand may find our VoD (on-demand) tours work better for them. This means:
- There will be a live Q&A after the tour where you can see and interact with us. if you switch your camera on – you can se us too. It is a great way to get to know us a little better.
- You need to make sure that you don’t miss the bus and sign into the virtual tour at least 10 minutes, preferably longer, before the start time.
- You will likely be one of the first to see the virtual tour in question as we tend to run our latest (new) virtual tours as scheduled live tours before we then add them to our back catalogue of great pre-recorded virtual tours of Scotland, which are available as video-on-demand (VoD).
- Please note that all times shown are UK/Scottish time. People join us from all over the world, so you need to use the time converter link that is provided for each tour to time your local time that is starts.

In this most insightful and in-depth virtual tour, by two tour guides who live in Culloden itself (between the Battlefield and Culloden House), we take you on a two and a half hour fascinating journey of remarkable insight into many aspects of Culloden that you would most likely miss if you visited or went on a traditional tour. As such, this virtual tour is very complementary to our minibus tours of Culloden. In this tour we take you into Culloden House and share the history that is 'hidden in plain sight'. We explore how Culloden House was before, during and after the battle. We share precious, rare artefacts that we own that came from Culloden House and we tell stories of Duncan Forbes, the Laird of Culloden, Simon 'The Fox' Fraser (Jamies' grandfather in Outlander) and of course Bonnie Prince Charlie. We then visit Culloden Battlefield, then Culloden Woods, and share with you the tragic events that unfolded on that fateful day - the end of the Jacobite Rebellion and in many ways, the start of the end of the Highland and clan-based way of life. This live tour next takes place on Saturday 12th February 2022, both at 4.00pm UK/SCOTTISH time.
